When I opened my eyes this morning I thought about what really matters in life. Conversely I thought about the things that matter the least, which I have mistakingly given too much attention. One of my favorite sayings is, “we live and we learn.” I’ve learned a lot this year. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned was to control the things I can control and don’t worry about the I things can’t. Worrying about the things I could not control was a huge waste of my time. Man, sometimes I can’t even control my two year old daughter. Lol
One thing I can control is how I treat others, despite how I’ve been treated. I’ve been betrayed on numerous occasions but my arms and heart are still open, especially for my fellow mommy. I have a lot of love in my heart. One of the five love languages is the act of gifting. This Christmas I am elated to show love to one of my fellow mommies by gifting one remarkable mom a one thousand dollar gift card to Target. Mommies will need to submit a brief entry explaining how this gift will change this Christmas. I want to make a difference in your home and in return you will make a difference in my heart. I love you mama! Merry Christmas!!
